Remember though that some of us are teams that scan and proof together.
Susan and I do this.  I scan, she proofs, then I put it up and she
immediately gets it to "proof" and puts it right back up.

OK!  <smile>  I am way way behind in reading, "jiffy proofers," are just
those who don't take the needed time to "proof," a book in the correct
manner, cut corners as well as whole chapters in order to make stats! 
That is unfortunate!  Hope the practice has stopped!
