I have Outlook Express, and the scripts come with JAWS, so I don't have anything out-of-the-ordinary installed besides that. Someone else told me about those hot keys a long time ago, and I don't remember which version they were using, but I have 4.51 and I know what they were using was newer than mine. It worked for me, though. Take care. Which versions of JFW are each of you running? Do either of you have scripts installed for your mail client, and if so, where are they from? These things might explain why Julie can and Jill cannot use these keys.
