Hi all.

I just submitted the following three books for your validation
pleasure. Here's the short version:

Accidents of Nature by Harriet McBryde Johnson, young adult fiction,
about the coming of age of a young girl with CP, fabulous! I actually
read this one all the way through, line by line. It will be a snap to
validate. Please look for extraneous junk characters at the end of
short lines or at the bottom of pages. I obviously got all that I
came across, but it won't hurt to do more checking. This is a
beautiful book.

What She Can't See by Hunter Morgan, fiction, mystery, excellent scan
with the usual clean-up work. Should be an easy validation, but let
me know if there are problems.

The Axeman's Jazz by Julie Smith, fiction, mystery, excellent scan,
same as above.

And here are the synopses for each:

Accidents of Nature by Harriet McBryde Johnson

Jean has cerebral palsy and gets around in a wheelchair, but she's
always believed she's just the same as everyone else. She goes to
normal school and has normal friends She's never really known another
disabled person before she arrives at Camp Courage. But there Jean
meets Sara, who welcomes her to "Crip Camp" and nicknames her Spazzo.
Sara has radical theories about how people fit into society. She's
full of rage and revolution against pitying insults and the lack of
respect for people with disabilities.
As Jean joins a community unlike any she has ever imagined, she comes
to question her old beliefs and look at the world in a new light. The
camp session is only ten days long, but that may be all it takes to
change a life forever.

What She Can't See by Hunter Morgan

A KILLER WITHOUT MERCY
The victims are all young and beautiful—the best and brightest. That's
why they have to die. That's why they have to be added to a twisted
killer's private collection until perfection can be reached. But
perfection is so hard to attain...
A GAME WITHOUT RULES
FBI Agent M.K. Shaughnessy's gut tells her that the
recent deaths at Chesapeake Bay College are far
from accidents. She suspects they're the work of a
serial slayer whose grisly work has only just begun.
But a mere hunch won't be enough to convince her
stubborn new partner, veteran agent Adam Thomas.
What they need is solid evidence—the kind that will
only turn up with the next dead body.
A NIGHTMARE WITHOUT END
Now, as M.K. immerses herself in the murders, matching wits with a
cold-blooded psychopath, she senses there's something familiar about
the pattern, some crucial connection she's overlooked because she's
just too close to see it. And that may cost her.
For the killer's gruesomely macabre project is
growing more shocking by the day, and the collection
requires a finishing touch...a trophy more precious
than anything that has come before....

The Axeman's Jazz by Julie Smith

In hundreds of anonymous self-help groups, New Orleans's restless
young and not so young search for love, self-esteem, freedom
from addictions, a quick roll in the hay, the lost inner child, you name
it. Enter the Axeman, a 1990s reincarnation of the city's
notorious serial killer of seventy years ago. Pretty
Linda Lee Strickland, strangled in her own apartment,
is the first victim.
For detective Skip Langdon, cheated of a romantic vacation by the
way from one self-help group to another, she finds
she has more in common with the twelve-steppers than just the
murder. And she knows what they do not: that among their
anonymous numbers is a deadly dangerous, and dangerously
attractive, psychopath....

Enjoy!
