Sure, that's true enough. But all books I scan for myself go into my Library folder. I want them to look good. I don't want my copies looking sloppy just because the Bookshare tools will clean up after me. It feels unaesthetic to me, and there's a part of me that just can't abide not doing it.
Even with books I scan for others--mostly Lissi--while those don't go into my personal library, I eliminate extra blank lines and extra spaces for the same reason. Aesthetically, I just have to do it.

Doesn't the Bookshare tool take care of that?----- Original Message ----- From: "EVAN REESE" <mentat3@xxxxxxxxxxx>To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, March 03, 2010 10:38 AM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Kurzwiel and .rtf documentsYup, I've noticed this also. K1000 seems to add a blank line at the bottom of each page for each time I open an rtf file. I know of no way to preventit; I just do a couple search and replaces to get rid of any blank lines beyond the one there should be just before the page break after I've done everything else. I do all my proofing in MS Word, but I love Kurzweil's ranked spelling feature. Spell checking is the last thing I do. However, I've noticed something strange.Once I have opened a document n Kurzweil, and then, if I open it in Wordagain, there are 2 blank lines before every page break, instead of the onethat was there before. This is the only formatting change I've noticed, though, of course, I could have missed something. Does anybody know why this is happening, or if I need t change some setting in either Kurzweil or MS Word?
