Yeah, this one is the Large print Edition of Lassie Come Home, so it should be an easier scan because of that. smile. I have a story to go with this book. My library, is a tiny local library, so selection is limited but the staff are absolutely wonderful. Anyway, about two years ago, there was a Summer Reading program, about private eyes, and one of the activities was a bulletin board of prominent figures in the community reading you know. So... I show up one day looking for books for Bookshare and me, smile, and the one children's librarian asks me if I would pose for a picture. I didn't have a Braille book on me, so we compromised on the Large Print edition, as you know some of us guide dog handlers read that too. So we took the picture for the wall. And in the picture it looks as if Judson is reading the book with me. She got his head at just the right angle. Really cute. We still have a copy around here somewhere, smile. So, I figured it is about time to actually read the book I was "Caught reading to my guide dog" smile. Shelley L.
