Thanks. I'll try to remember so don't have to ask again. I hope she's doing
well. 100 miles is pretty far. Do you get to visit? Do you have siblings
who see her? I know from when my dad wwas in a nursing home that one has
to keep an careful eye on things. actually it was when he was in tthe
hospital--not the nursing home -- that they didn't take proper care of
him, knowing that he was diabetic, and he developed a bad bed sore that
almost cost the loss of a leg ( except that he and we opted not to have it
amputated but to care for it by other means ( hence the nursing home,
where they did take treat the ulcer and took care of him but I still went
every day to be sure they kept him clean and moved positions frequently.
It was viisiting him that got me somewhat addicted to the various daytime
judge shows, like Judge Judy ( they are funnier than comedy series and
really kept him laughing (and me) and in good spirits
