Hmmm, hadn't thought of that. But the iPhone surely plays mp3 files. I would be surprised if, either it didn't have a speed adjustment built in, or there wasn't a free (or very cheap) app for that.

Slight correction to that Evan. The ones that are made it for the blind specifically to in deed usually have some sort of speed control but those that are made for the general public that is not the lower incidence population of blind people are at their cheapest. Very simple only containing a volume control, forward and back, and play stop button.
