Thanks, Madeleine, but what do you mean section breaks are handled the same
way as page breaks? (even your addendum isn't clear to me, smile. they are
retained as section breaks? Or they are converted to page breaks? (the
latter doesn't make sense as they have a different purpose; therefore, if
section breaks are retained as section breaks, and  we don't want them (in
my experience they separate text into columns) we need to change them
ourselvs to manual page beaks ( easy to do with a find and replace.
