Karen, That's why it's a good idea to post on this list the name of the book you are going to scan. Of course, it won't help for those not on the list but it's the best solution at present. And my suggestion is that you not scan a new book until you have seen what Carrie is buying from the N.Y. Times best seller list each month. My only hope would be that two people are not coincidentally scanning the same book at the same time. That is, before the Step 1 submit a book phase.
