Hi, Nancy. Did you know that you can buy used copies of books in
good shape from a site called half.com Sometimes you can get books
for under eight dollars including shipping. I've bought several
books from there and have had good results. The only thing is that
you're buying from a person and not a company. They have sellers
rate their books based on their condition. I've bought a few with
torn covers but where the pages were in great shape. I paid around 2
dollars for those plus shipping so that my total bill came to around
five dollars. I don't know if this information will help you. Some
people even list whether they smoke or not so you'll know that your
book doesn't smell like smoke. I don't care about that, but some
people do. Over time, you develop a list of sellers you like working
with, and that makes it even better because you know how they treat
their books. They offer both hardcover and paperback books on almost
any subject you can think of including cookbooks.

Monica,
Thank you for trying, but David will help me track _Resurrection Row_ down. Don't go to that trouble or expense.
Thanks, Nancy Hill
