Hi, Netta, welcome to the list. If you proofread books, then you don't
have to worry about putting a hold on a book. The submitter will put
holds on books for proofreaders who are interested. Generally I get
books which are held for me. Good fortune in your proofreading efforts.
There's nothing like that thrill when you're informed that something you
proofread is in the Bookshare collection. It's also nice when you're
able to make sure the submitter's file looks and reads as well as you
can make it given what the manual tells you. Regards, Kim Friedman.

I am a new volunteer and just complete reading through the manual and
finally checked out my first book-YEA!! I was reading through the table

saw that many of you have placed books on "hold"...so can you guys tell
