Hello Everyone, A bit late this time getting this notice out. Have been very busy with Christmas festivities and preparations for more of same and nearly forgot about it. The next meeting of the Science Fiction club will be on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 9 PM Eastern time, 6 PM Pacific in the Friends of Bookshare Community Room located at: http://conference321.com/masteradmin/room.asp?id=rs7867a2369e0e We decided, because of the aforementioned busyness of myself and most others around this time of year, that we would not officially do a book this month. But we did decide what we will be reading for January, and anyone who wants to start, especially after the new year has begun, is certainly welcome to if they like. The book is called Tyrannosaur Faire and its by Steve Carper. This is a PQ book, so the quality is first rate. You can download it at: http://www.bookshare.org/web/SingleTitle.html?submittitleid=55463 The synopsis reads as follows: This volume collects all of Carper's major works for the first time, and adds a story available nowhere else. So hope to see you there after the Holidays are through for another year of enjoying some great Science Fiction! All of you have a very marvelous Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Evan
