A doctor gave me a walker on Friday and let me tell you, it has made a whole lot of difference. Judy, I am so glad about the suggestion of a back pack it works soo good. I have to wait until Wednesday to see if I am going back to work. I broke two bones, the smaller one is on the front of your ankle, and both of them are in the front, one on either side. Go figure. The doc. said it was a rather unusual break and an unusual way of breaking it, smile. I can stand without the walker for about five minutes and put miniumal weight on the ankle. But we are getting there, and will get better with time, smile. Smile. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Judy s." <cherryjam@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, August 15, 2009 1:33 PM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: O_T White canes and crutches > Shelley, can't help with crutches and white cane combination, but I'm so > sorry to hear you broke your ankle!
