Sue: In your particular case, signing up for a spam protected email service is probably the way to go. There are programs u can get, the 1 I think is the most accessible being spamPal, but it does require some configuration to run on your computer, & they make it sound easier than it is. The problem w/the spam protected email services is that they either have a graphic (or, in rare cases) an audio captia in order to verify yourself, neither of which would be particularly beneficial for you. Programs like spamPal actually have a database of known spammers plus they use other criteria as well to filter it out.
