yep and it comes out very dramatically if you get several of them together
for a play date.

We had three dogs, Walker, Kody and Judson.

Judson was the oldest, and he is a pretty boy in a lot of things. he likes
to get wet, thinks rain is fantastic but doesn't enjoy mud or slush and will
try to avoid it. He is older and he likes to play but when he is tired he
wants left alone.

Walker, we compared to the "bratty six year old no one wanted to play with
on the play ground". smile, this dog would hog his toys, be in the center
of all attention and take objects from the other dogs. He liked to play
rough and ready and Judson doesn't play THAT rough.

Kody was the laid back one. He liked to totter around sniffing and
exploring watching bugs and things on occassion chasing a ball.

Kody was the middle in age.

It is just interesting to see their personalities. Even our two dogs Shadow
and Judson have different personalities.

Shadows joys in life are food, a snuggly bed, where he can curl into a tight
ball and sunshine to lay in.

Judson on the other hand, likes cool places, and places where he can sprawl,
lots of fetching and playing with his big ball and mental stimulation.
Shadow could care less most of the time if we don't pet him or get him
involved in play while Judson gets bored and rather brattish if he doesn't
get to play or work at least a wee bit each day. Though he likes his
vacations from full time work like the rest of us.

Smile. They do indeed have very different personalities.

Dog ownership is like a rainbow.
Puppies are the joy at one end.
Old dogs are the treasure at the other.
