Hello.
I'm using Word 2003 and JAWS 7.1.500.
Lately, when I use Spellcheck, JAWS will let me correct the first several misspelled words and then it just stops talking.

In some files, JAWS won't read the highlighted text-the incorrect word. The fonts are the same and the color of the text is the same. The only difference is that, in the files where JAWS doesn't read the word in the dialogue box, the word is highlighted in black. I set the background and foreground so that JAWS recognizes black on white but this doesn't seem to help.

I also have to use the control key along with the up and down arrow keys to move through a document. Way back when, I used to be able to just use the arrow keys to navigate without having to also press the control key.

Also, I used to be able to have more than one document open at a time and I could alt tab to move back and fourth.

I ran Repair on Word and then I uninstalled and reinstalled it. I also uninstalled and reinstalled JAWS and the problems still persist.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong here but it's really driving me crazy.
Christina

P.S., Just curious what problems are you having in Word and what version of Word is this you're using? Write me privately if you like.
