Hi Nancy. You should be able to carry them home. I got Braille for the first
several weeks. For the first week I got 2 books they are soft cover. The
second and each week thereafter I got little booklets. The restaurant book is
not included as of when I got my books. I don't know about now.

  Hi,

Yes, I did the same thing yesterday, and they said that the books will be
there next week. Is it a lot of Braille? Will I be able to carry them home on
the bus?

And which materials are covered? One thing I'm interested in is the
restaurant book, but I'm not sure that's included in the basic materials.

Thanks for the tip. They were both polite and somewhat knowledgeable
yesterday when I called, which was pleasantly surprising.

I got my books at the local weight watchers meeting. They ordered them for
me ahead of time in Braille and they were there for me when I signed up. I
just called the weight watchers at 1-800-456-6363.

    Hi,

Unfortunately, I can't access the .Kes books, as I have OpenBook.

Where are the points books, and the basic book? I don't think I saw them.

    Thanks.

Hi Nancy. I know there are a lot of weight watchers books on step one that
are in .kes format. I know the main weight watchers book is in Braille as well
as the points guide.

      Hi,

I'm thinking of joining Weight Watchers. I know that they have a lot of
introductory materials that they provide to their clients. Are these materials
in accessible format? Has someone taken the time to scan them into an
accessible format?

I see lots of Weight Watchers books on Bookshare, but this isn't exactly
what I mean.

For the first ten weeks of the program, Weight Watchers distributes
printed materials, or so I'm told. In addition, there are books I don't see up
here, like the points guides for regular foods, as well as those for various
meals at restaurants.

If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

      Thanks.
