This goes back to a way earlier discussion about
amusing scannos. I really hadn't come across any until
now. In the book I'm validating, two people are eating
in a hotel restaurant in Hanoi. The waiters have
served them two bowls of noodle soup. "Willy (female)
... began to eat. It was modest fare, poodles and
peppery broth ..."
