Goodness, it's been a very long time since I've posted, and I feel
rather churlish arriving with my metaphoric hat in hand.
But I know a lot of you have extensive library networks, which's I
suspect the best bet for finding out-of-print titles.
Namely: Melusine by Sarah Monette and its sequel The Virdu also by Monette.
Early in its contracts with publishers, Bookshare managed to obtain 3
and 4 of this series, but the first two have remained stubbornly out
of print. Warning that these do contain homosexuality, as well as,
from what I can surmise, a fair bit of violence.
I haven't proofed in a very. very long time, but especially if they're
being scanned by someone whose cup of tea isn't this sort of content
and they just want to be able to throw up the scans, I'll certainly
dust off the manual and take a whack. Otherwise, am happy to let
scanner just toss up in the general volunteer pool.
Can't tell you how amazing it'd be to get these two in the collection.
