I read Cam Jansen as a kid. I also read a ton of Babysitters Club, Nancy
Drew, and James Howe. Oh! The Carolyn Haywood books were amazing, as was the
Ann of Green Gables series.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Oldies But Goodies
my library has a lot of the Old but good books. So.... if anyone can give me titles I can see if we have them.
I picked up
Lad of Sunnybank Farm and Wolf
By Alfred Passon Terhune.
I really liked Lad a Dog and The Further Adventures of Lad.
So hope these will be welcome additions to the collection.
As soon as I attack them.
My childhood books were
Cam Jenson, Goosebumps, and the other "more contemporary" books, am only twenty-five.
So... naturally am not as familiar as some of you all with the oldies but they are usually much better than the stuff written now a days.
Smile.

Dog ownership is like a rainbow. Puppies are the joy at one end. Old dogs are the treasure at the other. Carolyn Alexander
