OpenBook doesn't even have a setting called "keep partial columns". In the legislative chamber that is my psyche, the votes are building for a K1000 upgrade. <smile> There still may not be enough to pass the appropriations bill, though.

Hi Evan,
Maybe Openbook and Kurzweil behave differently in the matter of column
detection. I've found that for me the best thing is to usually have column
detection on, and the setting called keep partial columns off. That way I
get the least annoying inappropriately-placed hyphens.
