If you are using the latest version of Jaws for windows (version eight), you
can hit insert z and it should go into a navigation menu where you can press
keys and it won't type them in your document. After pressing insert z, hit the
p key to go to the next page. When you want to type or turn the navigation
keys off, hit insert z again I believe.
