I've only been volunteering for a few months, but I've wondered why the bookshare staff couldn't make the conversion. If rtf is their preferred format, why not allow submitting in kes and ark, but they would convert those to rtf before putting them on step 1 (or do submitted files automatically appear on step 1 immediately?

(Christian book)Hi,Same here. I wonder if taking books that are on step one and not in RTF format and turning them into RTF and putting them back up on step one wouldbe a good thing? Thanks. (Christian book) Hi Booksharians, My friend has a book that has been on the step one page since November of 2006. I have no idea what happened there. I know it's not poor quality because he showed it to me back then. I'd validate it myself but it's just not something I really wanna read and I have quite a few of validations ahead of it even if I did. But I know there's likely quite a lot of people out there who might like this book. It is listed as having a copyright issue, but I think the book is okay, I can find out by E-mailing my friend if someone downloads it and lets me know the specifics of the issue. I just feel bad that this book has been in validation limbo for so long. So, please, someone rescue this book. <smile>. Here's the specifics of the book. Title: Groundwork of Christian Worship Author: Susan J. White Language: English Format: KES (Kurzweil) Brief Synopsis: Provides a survey of the many forms of Christian worship, giving particular importance to the way different groups understand their own tradition in relation to global Christianity. This book offers a comprehensible overview of the diversity of beliefs and practices evident in Christian worship today.
