Hi Susan,
I hope she does too. I heard from someone else who tried it this afternoon and
for them it worked fine. Word is so weird, isn't it?

Hi Judy,
I hope Lori has a better time getting this to work than I did. I
thought I followed your directions exclusively but was unable to get it
to work correctly. I may put it on the back burner for a while. I
correct it by using global replace. I just put askerisk and one space
and then replace it with asterisk space (three times.)

Hi Lori,
You'll need to change the auto correction settings in Word. The
Bookshare proofreading manual has detailed instructions on how to do
this, fortunately.
Go to: https://www.bookshare.org/cms/proofreading-home
and then search for the section called Microsoft Word Auto Correction
Options.
Follow those instructions to disable the "automatic bulleted lists"
setting.

Hello, Booksharians,
I recently purchased a new computer with Office 2016 and Windows 10.
When I attempt to type three spaced stars to show a break in the
action, the first star appears as a bullet. Does anyone know how to
correct this problem?
Thanks.
