Thanks, Jim. :) Your explanation makes perfect sense to me. Working
with the publishers directly makes a lot of sense both because it's a
direct channel and because it will reduce the likelihood of scanning
or OCR errors. The publishers don't know it yet, but Bookshare will
end up being a revenue stream for them since many of us by print
copies of books we've read to give to family and friends as gifts.
Maybe they'll come to see Bookshare as an ally over time. I'd really
like that.
