Okay, so I took Pam's advice, downloaded one of my own submissions that has
been on the list for quite a while and validated it. Would that be
self-validation? And would that indicate pride or vanity? Anyway, the good
side is that about halfway through the book when I would have been cursing
the scanner/submitter for missing the fact that the combination of the
letters ck were misinterpreted as c\, and, (dare I admit this publicly?),
there were two pages that were duplicated, the only person I had to curse
was myself, and since I have a healthy since of self-validation already, I
couldn't really get into it. So I fixed a lot if not quite all my errors,
uploaded it, accepted it, discovered that it had a 99.91% accuracy rating,
and can now go to bed with a clear conscience without ever breaching either
the shiraz or merlot. Now all I have to do is remember what a good
volunteer I am when I don't want to get up on time for work in the morning.

Peace and Hope,

Donna, who still much prefers scanning!
