When you are on a word in the rank spelling list, press f1 for a list of commands. They let you go to the word in the document itself for editing, hear the word spelled and more. Hope this helps.
F1 gives help for other things. Use it when you do not know how to do something. It is context sensitive help.
There is also a mpc copy of the manual on the kurzweil site as well as a .txt .brf and .doc version of the manual.
