    Hi Cindy and others,

Yes the training is very extensive.

While out in oregon we did.

Street crossings, sidewalkless work, traffic checks and traffic, escalators,
elevators, stairs, revolving doors, buses, light rail trains, trails and
sidewalk paths through the woods, building work, malls, crowded places,
night work, and I know I am forgetting something along the way.

Also my trainer came out here with us, and we worked on the T, getting
Gwenna used to using it, and finding seats.

This dog is a smart cookie, a little sponge, and learns so well and fast, am
really happy with her.

Smile.

Welcome back, Shelley. Yes, we did miss you but were
with you in spirit. Guinevere sounds lovely, and I'm
glad she's smart. It's a beautiful name, but long--are
you going to shorten it to Guin?

From what I read years ago in First Lady of the Seeing
Eye, I remember the training process was quite
thorough and extensive and fitting to the environment.
Since you live in the Boston area now and take public
transportation, may I assume that part of the training
took place in that kind of environment?
