Hi Angel,
So if the find and replace thing did not work, you could remove the space markers as you proofread. It would not be that difficult as you're going through the book anyway.

Hi Angel,
I did it one space marker at a time, but if you don't want to do it that way, here's something you can try:
First make a copy so you won't ruin your work if it doesn't work.
Put your cursor on one of those space markers.
Select it by holding down shift and arrowing one right.
Copy it onto the clipboard by holding down control and hitting C
Bring up the find and replace by holding down control and hitting H
In the find box put the space marker by holding down control and hitting V
Tab once and in the replace box, put a space by hitting the space bar once
Tab until you find replace all and hit Enter.
If this doesn't do it, I have no idea how to do it except the way I do. You are reading the book all the way through, right?

Hi Angel,
Whenever my JAWS tells me that there is a space marker, I delete it and put in a regular space by hitting the space bar. HTH!

I have a question about reading. While I am reading a book my jaws reads the file. But it says space marker. An it even does it while it isn't on all punctuation. How do I stop it from doing that?
