Regarding those extra pages that are often found in paperbacks, reviews or ads 
at the front and back, sometimes, those are printed in a different font, and 
the quality of that text is lousy. I would plead with people who 
submit books and with validators to delete that junk if its not readable, 
rather than leaving it in for the sake of so-called completeness. As Jesse 
said, that stuff is not part of the core text. You won't find any of it in the 
original hard cover, if there was one. There is nothing so discouraging as to 
start a book and be greeted with a lot of semi-readable junk that is not even 
related to the book you thought you downloaded. Its irritating 
enough when that stuff is readable; you still have to slog through  it to get 
to what you wanted to read in the first place. but when its also garbled, well, 
like I said, I would ask that it be deleted before you send the 
book on its way for final approval by the admin.
