Bertrice Small has all of her books listed on her web site:

http://www.bertricesmall.com/

I copied out this list and then checked off all that are currently on
BookShare. I then went to Alibris.com and placed a large order for used
books that included a lot of Small's books that are missing from the
collection. This was great fun even though the shipping cost almost as much
as the total for the books. <smile> Standard shipping on a $1.99 book is
$2.19. Still, a little over $4.00 for a book isn't bad, and I'll recycle
them either to other readers or the library book sale.

Anyway, most of Small's single books (those not in a series) are historical
romances. There's also one in a series currently in the collection that is
missing, The Last Heiress which is the last book in the The Friarsgate
Inheritance series. This is the one that began with Rosamond.

The Hetar series is fantasy. Here's what her web site says about Lara, the
first book in that series:

Welcome, dear reader, to the world of Hetar. A land of Forest Lords, of
Shadow Princes and Coastal Kings. A place that is both civilized and savage.
Where
the social classes know their place, but where anyone can, under the right
conditions, advance to the highest pinnacle. This is a place where pleasure
is not censured but encouraged; where the ends are justified by the means.
And yet all is not as perfect as it may seem. The orderly, elegant veneer of
refined Hetar cannot prevent the rebellion brewing in the Outlands, a
dangerous place of both magic and mystery.

From the City that is the very center of Hetar, Lara, the beautiful
half-faerie daughter of John Swiftsword, ventures forth on a journey that
will take
her into the heart of darkness and the depths of desire, as she learns the
true meaning of love that will last an eternity -- a love that will change
the
destiny of Hetar forever.

Creating Hetar and its many characters has been a great challenge for me,
but a wonderful and creative endeavor. I hope you will enjoy Lara's tale.

The Pleasures series are listed as "contemporary erotica titles."

Emilie Richards writes romance with a strong family focus. Her husband is a
minister and she has a degree in family counseling. She's written some
pretty interesting contemporary novels, most of which are in the collection,
and I plan to fill in the holes there. She's also written many lighter
romances which I may not have the stamina to work on as I really don't care
for the genre at all. She's written 51 books according to her web site:

I'm one of the Bertrice Small fans, but only her
historical novels. I'm not sure, but I think Little
Pleasures is modern, and Lara might be one of, perhaps
the first of her fantasies. But if no one else takes
them to validate I'llprobably give them a try.

What kind of books does Emlie Richards write?

I'm also fast becoming a fan of Lisa Kleypas.

And Ijust picked up Harry Potter and the Deathly
Hollows. See how far beind we who depend on libraries
instead of bookshare are? I don't mind, actually.

And Donna, you were also scanning A Song Flun jup to
Heaven, right? When I finish Harry I'm going to read
the last two books of Maya Angelou's autobiography.
All Gods' Children got into the collection very
quickly. If A SOng...needs validating by the time I
get ready to read it, I'll validate it--but looking at
the size of Deathly Hollows, I'm sure that won't be
for a while.
