Dear Sister Dolores,
My guess is that you won't have any trouble scanning this book. It's old and
brittle. Some pages might come out as you scan, but it will have good as new
life in the Bookshare library. In any case, as usual, I'd like you to keep
it and either toss it or pass it along. The only scanning problem I see is
that the chapter numbers like Chapter Ten are in italics and scanners
sometimes have problems with them. Actually the font isn't very fancy so you
shouldn't have much trouble. The print is pretty large for a mass market and
the margins are wide. There are 182 pages and a very nice, clear, easy to
scan synopsis on the back cover. I'll mail you the book next week as
Thanksgiving is disrupting our regular mailing schedule.
Thank you so much for giving it a try. If you notify me or the list when
it's approved, I'll be one of the first readers.
Have a very happy Thanksgiving.
Always with love,
Lissi

Dear Lisi,
I would like to scan the book on Mother Seton. Question: Is the book in
decent scanning condition or should I try to find a better copy? I
don't have your email address, but the monastery address here is: 9535
Linton Hall Road, Bristow, VA 20136.
