HI Sheri,

I think you'll find over time that you will develop different settings for
different types of books. Also there are differences in scanners. A problem
one person might have will not effect another. I've been at it a good year
now and just starting to feel at home with Kurzweil and my scanner. I do
four or five books that come out great then one comes along that kicks my b
butt:)

Hi, Folks,

I've just resubmitted:

SONGBIRD JOURNEYS Four Seasons in the Lives of Migratory Birds
by MIYOKO CHU

I'm a bit perplexed: this scan was rejected as poor quality a few days ago.
Maybe the txt file got barbled or the page breaks got eaten?
I'm submitting an RTF version this time, which is better anyhow I know. If
anyone takes a look at this and thinks it's not ok, could you give me a
heads up? I can get the print book back I think. I haven't read the whole
thing (it's on my list but not near the top), but
it doesn't look bad to me. If there's something I'm doing incorrectly,
someone stop me before I scan wrong again! *smile*

It's not my intention to splatter the step one page with junk, so if
anyone snags this one, do give me a shout if it's not OK and I'll relook
at my scanning settings ... or whatever I need to do.

Pece,

Sheri W-J
