Well, I thought I disrupted the power to the desktop, just as I finished
scanning The Ivy Chronicles. It went poof you know like when you've kicked
the power cord out. But then it smelled hot, and I think maybe the power
supply died. Could be the motherboard and processor as well, who knows. I
don't even know if you can get power supply units anymore that work with IDE
drives which is what I have. But I'm looking into getting an IDE to USB
converter so I can at least get the info off my hard drives and onto my
laptop and I did finally get the laptop and scanner to play nice. Too bad I
work the next 3 days then only have 1 day off then work four midnight shifts
and then go back to afternoon shift again.

I really wanted to get more books accomplished today.
