Evan, a million thanks for the BSO on this. The current copy in the collection isn't up to snuff, and this book deserves the best.

BTW, yes, a night owl (me) nabbed the book to proofread as soon as I saw Evan's email. smile. Dune has been one of my favorite books since I first read it in college. I'll get it proofread as quickly as I can, but I read every word when proofreading, and the book is over 600 pages long. So it won't get submitted for approval for at least a few days to a week. Evan's scan is terrific, and it shows how much work he puts into getting everything exactly right, so it's going to be a joy to proofread. smile.

    Hello Folks,
I just submitted a BSO of Dune to the Check Out page.
Here are the comments I put in the submission form:

Book has been read through entirely, completely spell checked, all page numbers and
page breaks accounted for, all fonts adjusted.
The version currently on Bookshare has several problems, including split paragraphs, missing hard returns, missing table of contents, and miscellaneous textual errors, including the word "Mentat" rendered
as "Mental" in two places.
I put my email address in as well.
I hope someone enjoys reading, or rereading as the case may be, this classic novel.
Evan
