E, if you still have the file, just submit it without
a note to Gustavo--as a replacement. I'll download it.
As Sue points out, the original scanner probably
doesn't deserve the credit--especially if it's
you-know-who. On the other hand, if it's one of the
nice people on this list, it would be nice for him/her
to get the credit, especially if it's a newbie just
getting started scanning.

Let's do this--hold onto your file for a few days.
we'll ask if the scanner is on this list and give
him/her a chance to rescan it. If we get no answer in
a couple of days, you can submit it and I'll download
it and validate it. It will take a while, but that's
not as bad as having it gone forever. smile I see he's
a new author or mysteries I'm not familiar
with--another to add to Anne Perry, Margaret Frazer,
C.B. Beaton, and Henning Mankell --mystery writers
whose books i've learned about and enjoy.

SO--is the scanner who scanned The Burglar Who Painted
Like Mondrian, by Lawrence Block, on this list? Would
you care to rescan the book so it won't be rejected
because of cut-off sentences and junk characters?

Cindy and E
