Cindy. Sorry I couldn't help. It's too bad they can't extend a book if
it's in the process of validation for just a few more days, but I don't
know all their reasons. Just like I can't see why when a book is rejected
that the submitter can't be told why it's not good Anyway if it doesn't
work out I could resubmit it and someone could start over.

Bud, Unfortunately what you have won't help Grace because she's almost finished validating it.
What happens is this: if we don't remember in time to renew books we're validating (we're allowed 7 days, including the day we downloaded the book, but we can renew a day earlier -- maybe two?) the book gets released, which mens it goes back on the download list *without* all the changes we've made -- it's the book in its original submitted condition. Grace is hoping that the person who saw it on the list and downloaded it for validation will release it so she can download that copy and trash it. When she's finished validating the book, she'll upload it and the perfected copy will be the one that's in the collection.
