Welcome to the k1000 fan club. Have you discovered optimize scan yet? You
will love it. The quality of submitted books rose markedly when version
eight came out with optimize scan as a feature.
You may be able to get your rehab people to assist you in the upgrade
process to K1000 from OB. I know there is a cost but they give you a
discount if you present them with the serial number and some other
docs. Since it was rehab who got you into this, you may be able to ask
them to help you upgrade. Worth a try anyhow.
