Hi,
I've seen a lot of suggestions going by about scanning and avoiding
junk characters and all that stuff. They are all good
suggestions. Particularly about pressing down on the book while
scanning. I find that if you pay particular attention to pressing
down along the spine it will give the best results. Just keeping the
book flat isn't enough without putting that extra little pressure
along the devide.
