I just submitted The River by Beverly Lewis and The Reunion: A Novel by Dan
Walsh. In the comment section of The River, I had said that I had read the
book. This is a wrong statement. I did not read it and I also did not read The
Reunion: A Novel. However, I did a great deal of proofreading for both novels.
The proofreader or proofreaders need to be willing to read these novels.
Title: The RiverAuthor: Beverly LewisCopyright Holder: Beverly M. Lewis,
Inc.Copyright Date: 2014ISBN: 978-0-7642-1273-4Publisher: Bethany House
PublishersShort Synopsis: Formerly Amish, Tilly Lantz Barrows and her younger
sister Ruth Lantz find themselves plagued by the memories of their family's
trauma when they return to Eden Valley for their parents' landmark wedding
anniversary.Long Synopsis:Tilly and Ruth, two formerly Amish sisters, are
plagued by unresolved relationships when they reluctantly return to Lancaster
County for their parents’ landmark wedding anniversary. Each woman carries a
burden of past guilt, unknown to the other, along with unresolved relationships
with their six married brothers... and aging parents. Headstrong Tilly urged
Ruth to flee the People as well, welcoming her into the fancy English world.
Neither had joined the Amish church. Tilly has since married and is the mother
of identical twin girls. But Ruth remains single, still smarting from a failed
courtship with her first beau. When she sees Will Kauffman again, old feelings
resurface, leaving her to ponder anew how things might be different had she
stayed in Lancaster County. Meanwhile, Tilly is faced with a life-altering
discovery that calls everything she knows into question. As past meets present,
Tilly and Ruth struggle to find redemption and embrace acceptance. Can they
face the future in the light of a past they can't undo?Comments: I inserted
asterisks to indicate section breaks. I also bolded and enlarged the fonts for
the different sections in the text in accordance with Bookshare’s proofreading
policies. When necessary, I added words in brackets to aid the blind readers.
Note to the proofreader: Make sure that all of the sentences end with the
appropriate punction. I have not read the book so I need a proofreader who is
willing to read it. The proofreader also needs to take out the
indentations.scootergirlred@xxxxxxxxx

stories to tell, if we'd only take the time to listen...Long Synopsis:Back
Cover: "Everything lost can be found. Aaron Miller knows a thing or two about
loss. He’s lost love. Dignity. Second, and even third, chances. Once honored
for his heroism, he now lives in near obscurity, working as a handyman in a
humble trailer park. But God is a master at finding and redeeming the lost
things of life. Unbeknownst to Aaron, someone is searching for him. With deep
insight into the human heart, consummate storyteller Dan Walsh gently weaves a
tale of a life spent in the shadows but meant for the light. Through tense
scenes of war and tender moments of romance, The Reunion will make you believe
that everyone can get a second chance at life and love." Expert storyteller Dan
Walsh pens this story with the things his fans have come to love--forgiveness,
redemption, love, and that certain bittersweet quality that few authors ever
truly master. Fans old and new will find themselves drawn into this novel about
how God cares for everyone.Comments: I inserted asterisks to indicate section
