Volunteers,

OK, some will question whether my choice of priority titles to assign for image
description ranks up there with shrimp on a treadmill. Politics aside, Pamela
Hoffard has completed describing a book today by that answers the burning
question, "What Good is a Goat?"* Thanks to all who are participating in
testing the tool, the protocols, and the training material.

I am have previously shared with you this link to an instructional video on how
to use Bookshare's new Image Description Tool. (A second version was recorded
yesterday but remains in post-production awaiting closed captioning and some
transition effects.)

Attached is the job aid meant as a refresher for those who have seen the video.

As you may have guessed instructions on image description will not become a
formal part of the manual until the tool and associated processes are stable.
Meanwhile I will keep you updated through this list.

Scott Rains,
former ranch hand, Daly's Two Creek Ranch, Douglass, Wyo

(PS * Any cattle ranchers or cowboys among our volunteer community who wish to
offer their answer to this question should contact me offline if, on
reflection, they realize that the least "Adult Content" answer they have to
share on the usefulness of goats includes the phrase "range maggots."
