Hi Rose, This awful pagebreak proliferation is a Kurzweil bug--I don't know what triggers it but it happens a lot. Often all the extra pages go at the end of the file so it's easy to get rid of them in one fell swoop, but sometimes they get interspersed throughout the book, and then it's a royal pain. Kellie
