Hi Susan and everyone!I saved this until I had a chance to read "Where the Wild Things Are", and, like you, I never read it, but have known about it for years, and, now that I have read it, I loved those picture descriptions, because they made the book come alive. Without them, the book would have not been much at all.
Those that like to, and can do picture descriptions, please continue. It's much appreciated. I would do them if I could see the pictures.
Susan, thanks for posting about this book. I probably wouldn't have thought to download the book if you didn't post about it.
BTW, I tried an mp3 version of this book, since it was short, and got it immediately. The voice wasn't the Heather I expected, but, whatever this voice is named, she sounds great.

Hi Booksharian Friends, Upon hearing of the death of the author of the children's book Where The Wild Things Are, I immediately searched on Bookshare and found it. As I had never read this book before, I was not only pleasantly surprised to find it but equally pleasurable were the described images someone had worked very hard on! A great big thanks to whoever added this book to the collection! Fantastic job! Happy scanning, proofing and reading!
