Hi George,Are you the one who spoke of the normal.dot template in MSword? If so, how does one use it? I mean, can you for instance validate RTF files using it?I get a message something like, Word automatically saves the normal.dot template. Do you want to download this file? Now I have to find my Office 2000 disk. HTH, George R. When I tried to load one of these books into Word, I was asked to insert my Office CD to install the converter. If you still have your original CD, you might try looking on it for the converter if Word 2000 doesn't ask you to install it. In any case, at least with the Word 2003 I am using, the converter was on the CD, so I didn't have to get it from elsewhere. Perhaps Word 2000 didn't have a converter on their CD, but you might still look. At least that way, if you ever need it in the future, whenever you load a WordPerfect document, it will be converted automatically. Sorry if this was not helpful. Its a letter from my landlord, which of course was not scannable because of the type of paper they used, and they did not email me the file until after hours. Theirfore, I could not respond to ask the person to resend it. thanks.
