This morning when I booted up my computer it ran into a problem and
would not boot. I was offered the choice of restoring it and I did that.
After the restore it seemed to work okay. Then this afternoon I finished
scanning a book and uploaded it. First I had converted it from the Open
Book format into RTF and saved it in my version of Word Starter. When I
came to the step where I was to fill in the copyright holder and
copyright date and publisher I tried to open it in Word Starter to check
on that information. I got a notification that Word Starter would not
open and that I should try again or do a repair in control panel. I
managed to get the information I needed from Open Library, but I never
did get the document open. I am hoping that what I uploaded was the
actual book instead of a blank document. As things stand right now I
cannot get into any of my test documents including one that I created to
keep a record of my health regimen and some others. When I went to
control panel I could not find anything that seemed to relate to my
problem. Does anyone know where in control panel I should look for this
and what I should do?
