Hi Kim. I'm assuming you also use jaws. If so, read on, otherwise, skip this message. To insert one of a group of characters press the jaws key (insert for desktops and caps lock for laptops) plus the number four on the numbers row at the top of the keyboard. One of those characters is the grave accented e( é). Thus you can make the word café. Or you could just copy the word from my message and insert it into your book. Hope this helps.
