After taking in this discussion today, I realize that I as both a scanner and a
validator resent a validator messing around with a book I have submitted
without discussing it with me. Correcting obvious misspellings or words run
together is one thing, but when punctuation is being changed as well as
formatting, I want to be involved when it is a book of mine because I agree
that as little as possible should be done to the original scan until Bookshare
is enough concerned to give us some guidelines.
