Jim, I don't think I've validated any of your scans (I haven't ever noticed
scanners' names), but based on other people's posts, I gather you do an
excellent job.
You asked what else you might do -- you probably already do this, but the only
things I can think of that you did not mention that you do is (1) check the
pagination before you submit -- I think E or someone mentioned that you can do
a find for the numbers (highlight the text, though, to eliminate finding those
on
the copyright info page) in sequence; I've done this and it's faster than
scrolling down looking for the pages, though I'm not so sure); and (2) do a
spell check. This
won't find words like "be" instead of "he" or the number one instead of
capital I, (though you can use "find" to find those and correct them) but it
would make a big
difference.
As I said, you probably already do those steps, but as you didn't mention them,
I thought I would, just in case.
