I started to ssay that is already taken care of by checking the
categories fiction and history when submitting a historical novel and
checking nonfiction and history when submitting a history book, but
then I thought about browsing the history category and finding a lot
of fiction there. I suppose one could check both nonfiction and
history when doing that kind of browsing, but it seems
counterintuitive and a bit awkward. It would be good to have two main
categories, fiction and nonfiction, with submenues and sub submenues.
In the meantime though, I suppose the best solution is to use some
thought and combine categories in such a way as to get what you want.
A nbigger problem than seperating historical fiction and history,
though, is seperating science fiction and fantasy. I see no way to
combine categories that will seperate them and they arguably have less
in common than history and historical fiction.
