I have just finished scanning a book that is in great shape, and includes title, author, isbn, the entire book, and lots of other stuff not including the words copyright or the copyright symbol. <grrr> This book can not possibly be a book unacceptable to bookshare, but where am I supposed to get the copyright holder and date from if they don't seem to appear in the book. Can anyone help me? Can I do an isbn lookup somewhere? As can be seen from the following info copied from the 2 pages of the book relevant to publishing, this particular edition seems to have been printed in Canada, but the publishers address is in the U.S. Could this possibly be in the public domain although it was first printed in 1930? I wouldn't think so. Swallows and Amazons ARTHUR RANSOME Illustrated by the Author SWALLOWS AND AMAZONS FOR-EVER! A Godine Storyteller DAVID R.
